Monday, November 13th took place in our cocktail bar the Spanish final of International Cocktail Competition Ti’Punch Cup. 10 finalists of all the country participated and among them our barman, Victor Launay.
The jury of tha final was composoed of important personalities in the field of cocktails and spirits: Paolo Di Genaro (Flair CrewAcademy ), Philip Gillier (Export Director of Rhum Clément), Adriana Chia (World Class Bartender 2016) and Alfredo Pernía (Solanes Cocktails & Luxury Spirits).
Yeray Monforte was proclaimed winner of the contest thanks to the Raisin Canne, an original and innovative cocktail of Ti’Punch, tipical from La Martinique islands elaborated with Rhum Clément. It is a combination of the following ingredients:
5 cl de Rhum Clément Premiére Canne
2,5 cl of lime juice
2,5 cl of syrup
2,5 cl of green chartreuse
In the words of the winner, “ it is inspired in the grape and sugar cane, connecting the French and the Spanish cultures with the classic cocktails and the La Martinique’s Ti’Punch”.
The second and third classified were Lucca Izzo and Andrea Semna.
The winner of this final will go to the world final that will be held on March 2018 in La Martinique, where will compete the winners of the finals of the 15 countries participating: Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Vietnam, Martinique, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Unites States.
