We start the year with a new proposal and we want to surprise you with the adaptation of a wonderful cake that we have transformed into a tasty digestive cocktail.
We are inspired by the Lemon Pie, a very popular dessert in the United States and in some Latin American countries, such as Argentina, Chile, Guatemala and Peru.
This cake is usually served after meals and is made on a puff pastry, filled with lemon cream and topped with a fluffy meringue on top. The origin of the Lemon Pie dates back to the 19th century and the oldest recorded recipe was attributed to Alexander Frehse, a Swiss baker.
In the same way as the cake, this cocktail is made with two different textures.
On the one hand the base, composed of vodka and Advocaat, a creamy liquor of Dutch origin, prepared with egg yolk, sugar, alcohol and flavoured with vanilla. We also add natural lemon juice, milk cream and Lemon Curd, a lemon cream of intense flavour. Crowning the cocktail you will find the meringue foam with citrus notes, grated lime rind and a detail of exquisite butter and caramel biscuit.

Formula Lemon Pie-Tini
in cocktail shaker:
4 cl. Vodka
6 cl. Advocaat liquor
2 cl. lemon juice
1 cl. milk cream
A tablespoon and a half of Lemon Curd cream
For meringue Foam made in a pastry siphon:
23 cl. egg white
10 cl. Limoncello liquor
3 cl. lemon juice
25 gr. sugar
Garnish with grated lime rind and a detail of butter and caramel biscuit
