My Jack is on fire is the cocktail of the month of november

For this month of November we present a very special cocktail, My Jack is on fire.

At the end of October, Julio Montero and Alice Giorgi, Bartenders in Torre Rosa, moved to the beautiful city of Valencia to run a Guest Bartending. This national event consists of the announcement of a recognized Bartender, of local or  international renown, who works for at least one night with the establishment team. For the occasion, special cocktails are prepared, considering that when them are created, it’s important to maintain the personality and style of each bar.

Premium cocktails in a historic place

On this trip we were accompanied by the Jack Daniel’s brand, and for the event we had the pleasure of visiting Café Madrid, a historic place that opened its doors at the beginning of the 20th century. Over time, Café Madrid became a cultural reference since it was a habitual place of gatherings and meetings of the most charismatic Valencian characters, becoming a very representative space of the city.

This year, after having undergone a comprehensive reform, the place opened again converted into a restaurant where dishes, flavours and textures from other continents merge, and in which we can find a cocktail bar led by two great Barman’s Nationwide, Ivan Talens, bar advisor and head of the reforms made for the new project, and Sergio Valls, bar chief of Café Madrid. Both devised and created a surprising and high-quality cocktail menu that perfectly combines with the gastronomic offer they provide to their customers.

An amazing classic style cocktail

The cocktail that we present to you this month and that we have created for the occasion is one of the five cocktails we took to Valencia.

My Jack is on fire is a classic style cocktail that will surprise more than one. We’ve mixed two references, the Old Jack Daniel’s  Nº 7 and the Jack Fire, one of the new products recently created by the brand that starts from the same Tennessee whiskey, to which Ceylon cinnamon from the best quality has been added, resulting in a smooth taste with a cinnamon burning finish.

We have mixed these two products with orange, lime and lemon juices to round off them, and with egg white to obtain a texture in the cocktail that, in general, will offer us a complexity that will not leave you indifferent to the palate, distinguishing and recognizing those burning notes.
