“Suffer the name, enjoy the taste.”
The Suffering Bastard was created in 1942 by bartender Joe Scialom at the famous Shepheard’s Hotel in Cairo. Originally conceived as a hangover cure for British officers during World War II, it is now considered a Tiki-style cocktail classic.
Bubbly, citric and spicy: the spicy hit of ginger and lime perfectly balance the botanical and woody power of its distillates.
Do you dare to try it?
