A cocktail inspired by Torre Rosa
The bartender Adriana Chia has just opened a new establishment “Antigua Compañia de las Indias” in Barcelona inspired by the era of colonial trade, from the 15th and 16th centuries.
Winner of several prizes at national and international level, she has included in her cocktails menu a cocktail named “Torre Rosa” as a homage to our building from the time of the Indians. As the author said: “Torre Rosa cocktail refers to the cocktail bar in the Congres neighbourhood, that was the last Indian building built in Barcelona. The tube-shaped glass has a small caramelized apple which is melting and changes the colour and flavour of the drink until it becomes a pink tour (torre rosa). Besides, the cocktail has jasmine in honour to its old name, Villa Jasmine.
